Hi Mark, What is your opinion of Clomid as an option to boost low testosterone? I am 32 years and have been suffering low testosterone for more that 15 years; mainly caused by an over masturbation binge during my puberty years. This resulted in atrophied genitals and erectile dysfunction. I have started using Tongkat Ali, Avena Sativa, Horny Goat Weed, Tribulus and Yohimbe along with nettle root and Chrysin. These have improved my condition, however, my testicles are still very small and I still have erectile dysfunction. I have just purchased Axis HT to improve my condition. My bodybuilding friends mentioned that Clomid will be the solution to my problems, as it will increase testicle size and reduce gyno. Could you help me out with my problems and let me know if I need Clomid? Also, should I take Axis HT for a week and then cycle the other natural testosterone boosters or do I use it along with the cycle. Clomid is an ovulatory stimulating drug used to help women who have problems with ovulation. Because Clomid can be prescribed by a gynecologist and doesn't require a fertility specialist, it's also the very first fertility treatment tried for most couples. If a woman has irregular cycles, or anovulatory cycles (menstruation without ovulation), Clomid may be tried first. Clomid is often used in treating polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) related infertility It may also be used in cases of unexplained infertility or when a couple prefers not to use the more expensive and invasive fertility treatments. (However, it's important to remember that the more expensive treatment is sometimes the most appropriate.) When comparing women who took Clomid with women who received either a placebo or no treatment, researchers found that there was no improvement in pregnancy rates, even when Clomid was coupled with IUI treatment. (IUI is insemination.) It’s not unheard of for a woman to lie to her doctor to get Clomid, thinking it will help her conceive faster. Not only will it likely not help her get pregnant faster, but now she’s at risk for experiencing side effects. (Some of those side effects You should follow the directions your doctor gives you. With that said, the most common dosage of Clomid is 50 mg taken for five days, on Days 3 through 7 of your cycle.

Clomid and Testosterone Clomid for Men! Side Effects & Risks! Hi Mark, What is your opinion of Clomid as an option to boost low testosterone?

If you’ve been trying to get pregnant for a while without much luck, you may have heard of a ‘wonder-drug’ that can boost your chances. Known as Clomid, it encourages the production of eggs. Clomid, or clomiphene citrate, to give it its generic name, is a drug that has been used for many years in infertility treatment. Taken in pill form at a specific point in your cycle, its job is to stimulate ovulation, which it does in about 70% of women taking it. By boosting the production and release of eggs, it boosts the chances of getting pregnant. Around 20-60% of women who ovulate on Clomid will get pregnant, but success depends on other factors such as age. It blocks the action of oestrogen, tricking the body into boosting the levels of two other hormones that control ovulation, and so kick-starting your ovaries. The first, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) controls the ripening of eggs in the ovary and the second, luteinising hormone (LH) triggers its release into the fallopian tubes. Most women are advised to take the drug for five days near the start of their cycle. Clomid can cause a slight increase in liver enzymes in the blood, therefore it should not be used in patients who have serious liver impairment. The studies mostly reported side effects, such as: excessive hair growth, premature ejaculation and facial acne. Probably the most significant and most serious side effect that can occur due to the Clomid use is vision loss that occurs due to ischemic optic neuropathy. Namely, Clomid may reduce the blood flow through the ciliary artery that supplies the eye with blood, and this leads to vision loss. If you notice any vision changes/disturbances, tell your doctor immediately. Clomid has an impact on the thyroid function, and patients who have problems with thyroid gland must consult a doctor before they start taking Clomid. Clomid can't be used in patients who have a tumor of the pituitary gland, a tumor of the adrenal gland or a tumor of the thyroid gland. It should not be applied in women who are already pregnant. Ovulation occurs within 5 to 10 days from the treatment initiation and your gynecologist will likely follow the process of ovulation on an ultrasound to determine whether this medicine causes ovulation or not. Clomid does not interact with a large number of drugs.
